Dinesh karthik : The phoenix of Indian cricket

The last ball of the match goes for a six! not a huge but a flat one over the extra-cover, but the impact of the six was a huge one because it was the last ball of the match ........ a high voltage (so-called) last ball ..... India won the match by 4 wickets against Bangladesh, is an 18 years old promising test playing country, not performed exactly what they wanted, but always considered by their own supporters as a “no.1” team in cricket.

That's not an issue. The issue is the batsman who hit a six in the last ball ...... Dinesh Karthik ..... the Phoenix ....thailaiva of Indian cricket.
Dinesh was selected before Mahendra Singh Dhoni but later he did not get any chance in the senior team, even in the test, both Wriddhiman Saha and Parthiv Patel were selected instead of Karthik who played his last test in 2010. He was always considered as a replacement of a regular player, although in domestic cricket he maintained the average of 40.
In O.D.I. he played only 73 matches since his debut in 2004 . and in   I.T-20 played only 19 matches in 12 years.  Actually, his career was overlapped by Dhoni, Saha, and Parthiv ...even sometimes Sanju Samson or Panth were selected in the team, but never Karthik.

Now in the final, when India needed 34 off 12, he played an innings in 'Rajnikanth' style -- 29 off 8 (3 sixes and 2 four ) including the last ball six...... he is now no.1 aspirant.
Karthik “the Phoenix”   scored more than 4500 runs with the strike rate of 131 in T-20s ...... with  141 catches and 50 stumps.
